Glendale, Ariz. — Detroit Lions linebacker Devin White left Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals with a forearm injury during the first quarter and was carted off the field.

Coach Dan Campbell said White would likely need surgery and would miss extended time. White did not return after being ruled out.

Postgame updates said White was later seen with his arm in a sling and cast. The injury came as Detroit finished a 45-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at State Farm Stadium.

Wide receiver Tom Kennedy also left with a knee injury and did not return. Detroit improved to 3-2 and enters its bye week following Sunday’s win.

White had been active for the first time since Week 2. The Lions will get more evaluation time during the bye before their next game.
