MIAMI, Fla. — The Detroit Pistons stayed unbeaten Friday night with a 128-111 road win over the Miami Heat, though two starters ended the night in the locker room.

Center Jalen Duren went down in the second quarter with a right thigh injury while trying a spin move against Giannis Antetokounmpo. He had four points and six rebounds in 10 minutes and sat out the entire second half.

Forward Ausar Thompson followed with 6:37 left in the third quarter, landing hard after going up to contest a layup by Andrew Wiggins. In 19 minutes of work, Thompson totaled four points, four assists and three rebounds, and he also stayed out the rest of the way.

Detroit leaned on its bench. Paul Reed posted 19 points and 11 rebounds, John Collins scored a team-high 23 points, Duncan Robinson had 17 and Cade Cunningham added 16 points with eight assists.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff gave no update on either injured player after the game. The 2-0 Pistons visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
