PHILADELPHIA — The Detroit Pistons bring a 2-0 record into Philadelphia on Sunday for a meeting with the 76ers, but they will do it without starting center Jalen Duren, who has a strained right hamstring.

Detroit listed forward Ausar Thompson as questionable after he sprained his right ankle. Both starters were hurt during Friday night’s 128-111 win at Miami, where the Detroit bench poured in 64 points.

Paul Reed filled in at center against the Heat and finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds. If Thompson cannot go, Ron Holland is a likely candidate for more minutes on the wing.

Philadelphia sits first in the Eastern Conference at 3-0 and has its own injury list, with LeBron James sidelined by a back problem and Ariel Hukporti out for the year with an Achilles injury.

This is the Pistons’ first 2-0 start since the 2018-19 season. Detroit went 60-22 a season ago, while the 76ers finished 45-37. After Sunday, the road trip continues Tuesday against the defending champion New York Knicks.
