# CreatorCon Returns to Huntington Place in Detroit in November

DETROIT, Mich. — A conference built on the idea that people who post content online can become business owners returns to Huntington Place in Detroit this November.

CreatorCon opens Nov. 13 and runs into that weekend, pairing creators with entrepreneurs and small business owners for two-plus days of meetups, hands-on classes and live selling demos. Founder Robert Courtney describes it as a marketing and business conference first, one meant to help companies raise their profile by working with creators.

Beyond the speakers, the floor will hold a vendor market, AI sessions and live shopping segments. A CreatorCon Kids showcase on Friday is aimed at introducing younger people to making content. Courtney said the opening is not limited to influencers with huge followings, and that shoppers now lean on social media more than traditional reviews when sizing up a business.

Part of the money raised will go toward student tuition at DSDT College, which offers career programs in information technology, AI, digital marketing and software development. Alicia Lyttle, David Shands, LaRussell, Nicky Saunders and Jason Wilson are among the confirmed speakers. Tickets and the full schedule are posted at creatorconexperience.com.
