Known for his hard-working nature and ability to negotiate fairly, he received respect from colleagues for his personal attention towards his employees.

Outside of work, Huth enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including deer hunting, fishing, gardening, and birdwatching. He affectionately went by the name “Grandpa Boo” to his grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held; friends are encouraged to honor him by filling a birdfeeder or toasting a drink.
