Together, they raised five children: Ann (Jeffery) Moss, Celine (Barry) McQuinn, Michael (Linda), Paul, and Mark. Joann’s family formed the core of her life, and she took great pride in her role as a mother and later as a grandmother and great-grandmother.
Joann was deeply religious, with her faith as a cornerstone of her existence. As a devout Catholic, she remained actively engaged with her community, emphasizing the importance of generosity and support. Visitation for Joann will be held on October 2, 2025, from 4-8 pm at L.J. Griffin Funeral Home, Northrop-Sassaman Chapel, located at 19091 Northville Rd (at 7 Mile). A Rosary prayer service will take place at 7 pm during the visitation. Additionally, Joann will be in state at Our Lady of Victory located at 133 Orchard Dr., Northville, starting at 10:30 a.m. on October 3, 2025, leading up to the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joann Diebolt can be made to Our Lady of Victory Grade School, in recognition of her contributions to education and community support.
