Glenn Stevens Jr., Executive Director of MichAuto and Chief Automotive and Innovation Officer at the Detroit Regional Chamber, has been appointed to the Innovation and Emerging Industries Transition Committee of Detroit Mayor-Elect Mary Sheffield’s administration.
Stevens brings over 30 years of experience in management, strategy, and operations across various industries, including automotive, steel, specialty chemicals, and capital equipment. For the past 14 years, he has focused on serving membership-based organizations, communities, and economic development across Michigan. In his new role, Stevens will leverage his industry expertise and MichAuto’s reputation as the statewide voice of the automotive and mobility industry to support Mayor-Elect Sheffield’s team.
