Michigan State Police confiscated over 13,400 marijuana plants and dried cannabis worth more than $10 million from an unlicensed grow operation in Baldwin. The Michigan State Police executed a search warrant on July 30 at an unlicensed marijuana grow operation located in Baldwin, within Webber Township. The operation was housed in a former manufacturing facility that encompasses more than 17,000 square feet on a 19-acre parcel of land.
During the raid, detectives confiscated over 13,400 marijuana plants in varying stages of growth, along with hundreds of pounds of dried marijuana flowers. The total street value of the seized cannabis is estimated to exceed $10 million.
Multiple individuals were arrested during the operation; however, their identities have not been disclosed. Authorities confirmed that neither the property nor the arrested individuals had valid licenses issued by the Cannabis Regulatory Agency, which regulates marijuana operations throughout Michigan.
