Over 600 students from Davison High School attended their prom aboard the Detroit Princess Riverboat on May 3. The nautical-themed event featured a dinner buffet, dancing with two DJs, and themed gift bags. Detroit – Over 600 students from Davison High School celebrated their 2025 prom on Saturday, May 3, aboard the Detroit Princess Riverboat, embracing a nautical theme. The event attracted more than 630 participants, making it a significant occasion in the students’ high school journey.
To reach the venue, prom-goers boarded 12 charter buses arranged by the school, with the journey taking them from Davison to the vibrant Detroit River. Once on board, attendees were treated to a delightful evening featuring a dinner buffet, an array of desserts, and enjoyable dancing. The riverboat provided a picturesque setting, offering unique views of the Detroit River as the event unfolded.
The riverboat was equipped with two separate dance floors, each featuring its own DJ, which allowed students to enjoy varied music and dance all night long. In addition to the lively atmosphere, each attendee received a themed gift bag upon returning to the buses, which included a commemorative T-shirt representing the class of 2025 and snacks to enjoy on the ride home.
