The shooting occurred around 6 p.m. on Patton Street, situated in the 15000 block. Witnesses report that the conflict erupted when one adult aimed a firearm at children who were on a porch and subsequently fired shots. Multiple individuals armed with guns engaged in the ensuing gunfight, leading to multiple injuries. Among the victims, an 11-year-old child was grazed by a bullet but is expected to recover.
Currently, a man in his 30s remains hospitalized in stable condition as a result of the shooting. Authorities have identified Damar Hull, a 37-year-old Detroit resident, as a key figure in the incident, facing several criminal charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
