Detroit – Emma Kuehl has been named the seventh head coach of the women’s lacrosse program at the University of Detroit Mercy, marking a significant milestone for the team. This appointment was officially announced on Friday, and Kuehl is set to bring her extensive coaching experience to the program.

Additionally, she served as an assistant coach at the same institution during the 2022 and 2023 seasons, helping the team to an impressive overall record of 34 wins and only 2 losses.

During her time there, she made significant contributions that included the selection of eight athletes to the All-Patriot League and achieving notable academic honors.
