The annual Sterlingfest will take place in Sterling Heights from Thursday, featuring a tribute act to George Michael and Wham, followed by a captivating drone show on Thursday night. The festival will offer performances throughout the weekend, including Mac Watts and Collin Rayne Friday night, and 1980s rock bands Quiet Riot and Warrant on Saturday night. With activity hours running from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., the festival will also include entertainment for kids and a jazz and blues stage, providing a fun-filled experience for the whole family at 40555 Utica.
This weekend also sees numerous notable performances in Detroit. Multi-platinum rock band Shinedown is set to play at 7 p.m. on Friday as part of their “Dance, Kid, Dance” tour.
