DETROIT, Mich. — The Detroit Lions return from their bye week to host the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field on Sunday afternoon in an NFC North game with early division stakes.
Detroit sits at 3-2 and lists only two players as questionable, safety Brian Branch and center Cade Mays, and both are expected to suit up. DeAndre Carter was promoted from the practice squad to return punts and kicks.
Green Bay arrives at 4-2 on a three-game winning streak but short on healthy starters. Linebacker Zaire Franklin was ruled out this week, joining a long injured reserve list that includes pass rusher Micah Parsons, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper and tackle Zach Tom. Running back Josh Jacobs is in line for his season debut.
The Lions rank second in the league in scoring. Running back Jahmyr Gibbs has piled up at least 700 yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns through five games, only the fifth player in league history to do it.
Green Bay swept the Lions last season.
